Mercerization is a treatment that imparts a permanent luster to fabrics and yarns. It is the reason our cotton sweaters are so bright. You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer dog sweater anywhere! The optional back leg loops help to prevent the garment from riding up, but can be cut off without affecting the sweater. The shorter rolled neck is great on dogs with short necks like pugs and bulldogs!
